[the] ‘people’ (again) stating: “some people feel that Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately if he gets in, things will really explode.”
Hayes then adds that, that could be [quote] dangerous [end quote].
Sarandon then replies, “It’s dangerous to think that we can continue the way we are with the militarized police force, with privatized prisons, with the death penalty, with the low minimum wage, threats to women’s rights and think you can’t do something huge to turn that around.”
What in the entire hell!?
She really lost me there.
Let’s talk sense here.
In life, it’s quite gullible (and even foolish) to think that any person…any functioning member of society doesn’t have an agenda (regardless whether it be personal, political, professional, creative or otherwise—no matter the sector, setting, scene or situation). To be a functioning member of this society and in this world you have to have an agenda-period. Don’t even trust anybody that says they haven’t an agenda (because they either do and most probably don’t know the difference between ‘pretense’ and ‘agenda’).
Whether it be Paul Rubio, Bernie Sanders, Ted Cruz, Hillary Clinton, or Donald Trump (politically + personally speaking)-each candidate has an agenda.
The problem I have with Susan’s statement [of reasoning] is…(correct me if I’m wrong and if I’m wrong I just missed the article, or airing)…but WHERE in the HELL (anywhere throughout the GOP Caucuses) has Donald Trump mentioned an agenda having anything remotely close to care, concern or even mentioning any iota of an agenda having anything to do with:
- militarized police forces? (Donald Trump doesn’t even understand that life or experience)
- privatized prisons? (that’s business for what Donald Trump would consider ”housing’ for “lowlifes” that clean his toilets-he would be all for the business of prisons)
- the death penalty? (see previous)
- threats to women’s rights?
- low minimum wage?
…The last two, as chauvinistic and misogynistic as Donald Trump has proven himself to be, I am
