online video sites may allow you air time and give you (money) and/or the floor to put the ball in your court, what’s the end game or goal?
As it pertains to the (typical) goal of the person dropping the dime(s), the thing is [that] after the money’s paid in order to drop the dime or even worse-done for free in exchange for ‘stardom’ and the yearning to “be famous” is fulfilled after that first 15 minutes, here’s the reality:
There’s no “stardom” in it meaning: “being famous” is a leveled playing field like never before-now [meaning that]…“being famous” is attainable for ANYONE (online-for a set amount of time). However, that’s not really the solidity of “stardom” of yesteryear considering EVERYBODY can “be famous” online even for doing nothing particularly “famous” (worth “celebrity” in the form of celebrating but instead, being famous for merely passing time and observing for entertainment and gossip-that’s it).
Don’t look now, (or EVER) if reality bites you-but I explain it in TOTAL detail here, but even your top celebrity isn’t a “star” anymore because-the “star” of yesteryear WAS as star because there wasn’t a leveled playing field, therefore, they were “stars” (first) because of the lure and their distance—fame’s industry doors and gates seemed impossible to penetrate. And because of that, “stars” and “stardom” seemed too far to reach-they were afforded the control of being ‘pedestaled’ such that reaching [the stars] was unattainable and their fans had to buy a print magazine, catch them on the tv screen or and event for a photo op or autograph in order to feel any feel semblance of ‘normalcy’ or connection to their favorite star.
Now, because of the World Wide Web its and intertwining and connecting of social media, celebrities’ “star” has fallen…and now, their fans are “stars” now (too). Now, THEY (the “stars/celebrities”) are forced to play with their fans in ways that for YEARS since the beginning of “Hollywood”—they were never forced to do (in order to ‘stay relevant’).
That has dimmed the light and lure of being the untouchable in the distance “star: they were [of yesteryear].
So at this point in the game (and 15 minutes of “fame”) one’s SIGNIFICANCE (over “relevance”) is the only divide and deciding factor of one’s “stardom,” and that lies in one’s “celebrity”—what is it about you that we are celebrating?
Fifteen minutes fame is the saying of old, hence social media video reels offer up “15 SECONDS” (for your ‘fame’).
All that being said, deciding to drop dimes on “the famous” or “celebrities” lasts all but 15 minutes—unless followed by YOU doing something worth celebrating in order to be considered a ‘celebrity.’ Because (again)-I will repeat: Everybody’s “famous” and well, there are no “stars” anymore (as explained beginning six paragraph’s back).
So what’s your end game-a continuum of 15 seconds of fame?

Because at the end of the day, whereas stars’ “star” has fallen to leveled playing fields of their fans (who too, are “stars” now), one thing still remains—about CELEBRITIES (people who are celebrating for doing particularly famous things): While you can garner 15 seconds of fame (that, in order for you to keep it going): a continuum of shame; all this dime dropping only adds up to
