Meanwhile, across the water, Nicki is busy burning up the runways of Paris prepping to send tongues wagging in a different way that rap wrangling tongue wrestling.
For years-since she’s been on the scene, Nicki Minaj has been accused of trying to emulate rapper Lil’ Kim’s style as apart of her rapping come up.
Legend has it that rapper Lil’ Kim did indeed start the “Barbie” ‘so-call,’ then along came Nicki Minaj who personified it and as many believe: put Lil’ Kim’s persona right on in the shopping bag with it.

Advertised as “9..9.99” pop and rap fans and pop culture aficionados like myself will never forget 9.9.1999: The day of the notorious MTV VMAs where Lil’ Kim stepped out in a daring purple off the shoulder number designed by Sean ‘Puffy’ combs’ baby-mama Misa Hylton Brimm.
The riske’ number was made such that Kim’s boob hung out of the off the shoulder no-shoulder portion of the jumper—with just a purple pasty to cover the nipple to match the rest of the suit.
Diana Ross was tickled.
(Mary J. Blige looked a combination of embarrassed and envious at the same time).
We never forgot it.

Nicki obviously never forget either.
She was pictured taking to the runways in Paris this week wearing a skirt and off-with-the-shoulder no shoulder number–boob hanging out and nipple covered with a pasty, too.
