earlier rape conviction being overturned. Even over the suggestive doc’s title (“Making a Murderer”) Ken Kratz, one of the prosecutors who convicted Avery spoke out against Netflix filmmakers, claiming they sorta sensationally ‘show-biz selected’ evidence valuable to the show so as to make the accused look as though he was innocent [and made up to look like a murderer]. Obviously the documentaries filmmakers deny such a thing and the 200k+ fans of the true crime show are sold on Katz’s claims.
Either way, the POTUS is not getting himself caught all up in this fan-fare and busy making good on his promise on gun control right now.
And for the record, now, later, or never will he (or any other president) ever be able to pardon Avery as, his crime is not a federal conviction. Federal (executive) is the only presidential ‘way.’
Check your branches of law (judicial, legislative, and executive) and each’s stipulations before wasting a president’s time with fan-fare, people.
Rather than [being] knee-jerking in response/reaction, we need to be as ‘researching’ and responsible as the social ‘media’ access we take advantage of. It saves us all wastes of time.
