The brother of successful, award-winning raptress Nicki Minaj has been arrested with raping a child [quote] “younger than 13” [end quote] in Nassau County (New York).
As per court records, arraigned this past Tuesday and charged with first degree rape + first degree sexual conduct against a child, Jelani Maraj, 37, was given bail set at 100k and released two days later from the Nassau County Jail in East Meadow. Reportedly, he has (and suffered from) an unknown medical condition and was arraigned on Thursday at Nassau University Medical Center.
The Nassau district attorney’s office declined to comment on the ongoing case or how the girl came in contact with Maraj.
His superstar sister gave him a shout out via her social media account as captioned in a photo where she posted photos from Maraj’s August wedding to his longtime girlfriend Jacqueline Robinson at Coral House in Baldwin where in attendance was her sister Nicki Minaj who wore a red Alexander McQueen gown.
“Jelani, I love u more than you’ll ever comprehend” and ending her sentiment with a teary-eyed emoticon.
