Last summer (July 6, 2012) singing heartthrob [Usher]’s 11-year old stepson 
Kile Glover, died in a jetski accident on Lake Lanier (northeast of Atlanta, Georgia) after succumbing to injuries he suffered from the accident some six days later.
A Hall County (GA) jury found Jeffrey Hubbard guilty of
- serious injury by vessel
- reckless operation of vessel
- unlawful operation of a personal watercraft
- (and a boat traffic violation)
which not only killed the 11 year-old but as well, left another teen severely injured.
Investigators said that the jetski Hubbard was riding in hit the children as they were being towed on an inner tube.
Hubbard’s attorney’s however, argued that what happened was a tragic accident rather than “recklessness.”
No further details on Hubbard, Usher, 
the child’s mother, or the case at this time.
