- The incident happened in Lakeland, Florida
- The fan was 18 year-old Miranda Dixon who, at first reached out to tough Gate’s leg, then a second time; grabbed his shorts. That prompted a knew-jerk response that caused Gates to kick her in the chest
- The kicked caused Dixon to lose her breath and fall backwards into the crowd and reportedly she was dazed and confused
- Dixon reported the incident and sought medical treatment post concert (whether she stayed and did this after the concert or left the concert to do this is still unknown for sure)
- Gates is charged with simple battery

Although his propensity for acts of violence and blatant disrespect of women is well-documented, with regard to the kicking incident, rather than responding via his usual social media platform; Kevin penned some poetic justice of his own by explaining his side-saying that the woman grabbed at his penis (and as well, he refers to the victim he kicked as [a] queen).
