…well…not for an interview, but rather: In Your View.
According to Forbes’ Celebrity 100 List, the Grammy winning, singing powerhouse is currently the most powerful A-lister around; backing up their claim by noting that Beyonce’s Mrs. Carter Show (tour) hauled in a whopping $2.4 million for each of the shows…(95 in total).
In addition, Forbes counted and weighed into this feat-the fact that her self titled, fifth, studio album Beyonce (instantaneously dropped in the middle of the night one December day in 2013–via no promotion), broke first-time ever record sales.
The magazine estimated that in addition to all aforementioned, her endorsement deals with major companies like H&M, Pepsi, and her fragrance and clothing company House of Dereon raises her up the ranks-estimating the totality of her existence + earnings ranked in $115 million last year (before sales for the On the Run tour-which just took off on June 25, 2014).
Before the math was done on all this, Oprah Winfrey held that top spot (in 2013). The television network and magazine owner is now fourth on the list-having earned an estimated $82 million this past year.
Who holds the number 2, and 3 spot-you ask?
- LeBron James #2
- Dr. Dre #3
- Ellen DeGeneres #5
- Jay Z #6
- Floyd Mayweather Jr. #7
- Rihanna #8
- Katy Perry #9
- Robert Downey #10
Others on the list included:
- Jennifer Lawrence #12
- Bruno Mars #13
- Miley Cyrus #17
- Taylor Swift #18
I guess…carry on now.
Carry on with facts and surety, when [loving or hating] her self-moniker: “King Bey.” And while yous are at it (like she says, sings): “Bow Down B|tches.”
