It is that position (rather than being apart of the NAACP/organization) that her position as president and chair of the commission a state-mandated entity is being called into question.

“She’s our birth daughter and we’re both of European descent,” he said, adding, “we’re puzzled and it’s very sad” -Rachel’s parents

When looking at her and considering the fact that she does not have the traditional/typical Caucasian nose in conjunction with the Afro-centric (slash) “ethnic” hairstyles she’s worn over time, that “trace” of Native American heritage her parents also listed as her having obviously served Rachel Dolezal well since around 2006/2007 since she begun “disguising” herself.

“Her passion for civil rights is influenced by her years in Mississippi, where she advocated for equal rights and participated in community development,” (Rachel’s bio).

According to reports, Dolezal has identified herself as white, black and Native American on her application and forms and is too, a part-time Africana Studies professor at Eastern Washington University and reportedly has been misleading people for years.

“She has over the past 20 years assimilated herself into the African American community through her various advocacy and social justice work, and so that may be part of the answer” her Rachel’s father.

Appearing uncomfortable after being shown a picture of her dad and asked to state her race, here’s a clip of Dolezal responding to the allegations being made against her:

For the record, this is the man she passed off as her dad (who too, was the dad that showed up at her NAACP president-elect ceremony in January):

The Washington Post reports:

Lawrence Dolezal said his daughter was involved in Voice of Calvary, a “racial reconciliation community development project where blacks and whites lived together,” while at Bellhaven University in Jackson, Miss.

“You speak and sound and act and take on the mannerisms of the culture you live in,” he said. When Rachel applied to Howard University to study art with a portfolio of “exclusively African American portraiture,” the university “took her for a black woman” and gave her a full scholarship.

“You’ve got a white woman coming in that got a full-ride scholarship to the black Harvard,” Lawrence Dolezal said. “And ever since then she’s been involved in social justice advocacy for African Americans. She assimilated into that culture so strongly that that’s where she transferred her identity.”

He added: “But unfortunately, she is not ethnically by birth African American. She is our daughter by birth. And that’s the way it is.”

WHY DID HER PARENTS DROP A DIME ON HER?

As to the why all of a sudden, her parents dropped a dime on her after knowing she has been passing in life as a black woman since around 2006, according the Rachel, there has been a lawsuit going on within the family for over a year now in which she is in support of her (white, blood) sister brought up against her white, blood brother.

WHAT’S WRONG IN THIS?

Outside the odd fact that (as per her parents) she is passing her adopted brother off as her own son, as it pertains to her job at such an organization like the NAACP, unless Rachel Dolezal is on
