10540328_1448556905413212_349537985_nConsidering Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” cover art photo controversy last week, I don’t know if “leak” is too graphic a visual for what really did happen today. To put it plain and simple: The song was leaked, really.

All things considered: The single was originally scheduled to…uh-drop on July 28 but Minaj decided to push it…uh-back to August 4. No buns puns intended.

Considering the massive publicity…uh-behind the single’s cover art, we could only hope the song lives up to the hype and that it is all that it’s…uh-cracked up to be. Again, no buns puns intended.

Sir Mix a Lot babye Got Back OTHER SIDE OF THE FAMEJust so you know (thanks to today’s leak), we now know the inspiration behind the single’s titled (Anaconda) as, the single starts in with the classic Sir Mix a Lot’s “Baby Got Back” lyric/line sampled from the original song: “My anaconda don’t want none unless you got buns hun.”

Well, you can’t go wrong with an ode to Sir Mix a Lot’s 1992 hit “Baby Got Back”-it still gets spins on Top 40 radio stations even as recent as—last night (I promise you this).

I’m guessing we can all rest now that we also know the inspiration behind the cover art as [it relates to the song, the “Baby Got Back” remake–and the new single’s lyrics I might add and as you’ll hear].

Unless you live under a rock, you’ve already seen for yourself-now, listen:
