If we haven’t already, I’m guessing we can return [the cute lil’ guy at Target’s identity back to him] from this pic that’s been floating around the Internet of him being designated to take on double-duty as Zayn’s understudy in conjunction with his gig.
Although (whoever the guy was) was a dead ringer for former One Direction member Zayn Malik and it could have been humbling (and sad to say the least) to think that Target was Zayn’s next career move after leaving the group, the fact of the matter is: he’s got new news.
Headed by Sarah Stennett and backed by Universal chairman/CEO Lucian Grainge; the management company (Turn Artists First) who, as well, is credited with launching the careers of Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora has added the former One Direction member to the roster as he prepares to take off like Justin Timberlake after leaving NSync.
Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Malik is still a part of Simon Cowell’s Syco Music roster, which will likely shepherd his solo material. One Direction is currently touring North America, and Malik recently tweeted at his “bro” Liam Payne on the group’s five-year anniversary.
As far as the group goes, theirs no love lost or bad blood as shown in this May 2015 Billboard Award acceptance speech.

…and according to Zayn (during this recent acceptance speech), the feeling is mutual:
