Whoa. Talk about cosmic energies, already.
Check this out.
You know we at Other Side of the Fame reported to yous a few months back that rapper Big Sean and Glee actress Naya Rivera’s wedding had been canceled.
Well, for the record, the estranged couple were indeed supposed to be married on July 19, 2014 and whadda’ya’ know: Naya Rivera did get married……………..on July 19, 2014-anyways!
Sure, considering the fact that after the details emerged and it was reported that Big Sean broke it off with her, knowing that Rivera (suddenly and surprisingly, revealed as a surprise-I might add) did get married (on July 19, 2014); the cake scene out of the movie Thin Line Between Love and Hate (with Martin Lawrence and Lynn Whitfield) surely popped in my head. [The scene where she had Darnell strapped in the chair and mushed the cake in his face for standing her up on her birthday around the 1:12-1:20 mark of the video] “WE WILL HAVE MY CAKE!” she (Lynn Whitfield as ‘Brandy’ said):
Well, if I shall remix a Beyonce hit myself, allow me to sing it to you (for Rivera?): “You must not know ‘bout, you must not know ‘bout she. Talkin’bout: How I’ll never ever find a man like you. Got me twisted.”
Big Sean will NOT play Rivera to the left-to the left. Because Naya married her brand new boyfriend, actor Ryan Dorsey, on July 19 but here’s another twist that’ have you twisted: July 19, is Dorsey’s birthday.
According to our source (US Magazine’s) sources, Naya didn’t even tell most of her friends that she was getting married or that she was dating Dorsey-the whole thing was a surprise.
While we’re still tangled, allow me to add this tidbit: Coincidentally, during the time of Rivera’s July 19 wedding, her ex (rapper Big Sean) was nearby Los Cabo, Mexico (in Punta Mita) recording with Kim Kardashian’s hubby: rapper Kanye West.
Additionally (yes, there’s more), our sources also reported “Rivera had a touch of Kimye magic for her big day”—having summoned the services of hairstylist Clyde Haygood (who, as you may not know) styled Kim Kardashian’s hair for her wedding this past May. As well, a source close to Rivera revealed that the Glee star’s Monique Lhuillier dress resembled the long-sleeved, lace-covered Givenchy gown Kim married Kanye in.
Speaking of cosmic energies.
Although Capricorn can be as “intense” about their worldly status and reputation as a Scorpio can be “intense” about vengeance, we’re just gonna rock with all this being a coincidence (and too, ignore the fact that Rivera even met Big Sean after swooping down on him via Twitter). Even considering that, we refuse to believe she would look up July 19 celebrity birthdays and assume she methodically met Ryan Dorsey.
…Because maybe this was all kismet (and something else our friends at US Magazine omitted): July 19, 2014; (coincidentally) our guy and Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine and his Victoria Secret wife Behati Prinsloo got married…………..on July 19, 2014……………in………Los Cabo, Mexico……………too.
The couple released a statement to People Magazine: “We feel truly blessed to be joined as husband and wife. Our special day was fated and everything we could have ever asked for.”
Now, we’ll turn this over to our friends at People Magazine so they can tell yous a few things about Naya’s new boo Ryan Dorsey—‘cause you’re gonna need to know it. Because by Naya’s my predictions, they are gonna be as power a couple as Kanye and Kim Kardashian, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo so, well………eat the cake Big Sean, just eat the cake.
P.S
Join Other Side of the Fame in wishing the newlyweds well.
After, whether it be kismet or fate, Cancer and Capricorn can do really well together and are compatible. They’re both cardinal signs and are on the 7-7 Pattern of Opposition.
Read all about it. I write celebrity blogs but I write that too. Enjoy 🙂
