Taco Bell will not be outdone by Chipotle’s new tofu/soy addition to their menu or White Castle’s new veggie burgers for their “slider” cravers.
Uh un.
While McDonalds’ brags daily of having “1 billion served” high above their yellow arch, Taco Bell (now) at least can compete with that, with this:
In celebration of their 1 billionth Doritos Locos Taco for the month of January, the popular, David Letterman favorite is offer you free Doritos Locos Tacos (with the purchase of any other menu item).
There is one catch however:
You have to download their app.
Having launched just this past October, Taco Bell’s ordering app reached 1.4 million downloads in December and beginning January 1, the food chain will be giving away free Doritos Locos Tacos (with your order).
Now, considering they haven’t stepped their game up like Chipotle [and gotten with the Tofu/soy program as yet] I can personally offer you this much: I have gone there and asked for chicken (instead of meat) with my Doritos Locos Tacos several times—so you might wanna ask too, if you’re not a meat eater or prefer chicken instead of “taco meat.”
So again, that’s each time you place an order via the mobile app—the Doritos Locos Taco is yours- free!
Doritos Locos Tacos come in a Cool Ranch shell (like Cool Ranch Doritos) and as well, the come in the tradition Doritos shell.
Yummers.
Bone app…leads to Bon appetite!
