Lady Sings the Blues…Clues.
Well. Something like that.
Sources are saying that Rihanna has been giving popular movie director Tyler Perry the duff for about a year now, as it is being reported that he has been trying to court her for a Whitney Houston biopic that he’s interested in bring to the bring screen.
Despite rumor having it the excuse being sent through the grapevine [by her?-Rihanna] is that she is plotting her next movie role in hopes that the character would be bad-a$$; sources close to the pop princess is stating that she was warned by Whitney herself, while at a party back in 2012 before she died (quote) “Tyler Perry movies are for fading black stars, not rising ones,” (unquote).
Tyler Perry is best known for his sleuth of successful Madea series movies, and too other box office smashes such as “Why Did I Get Married,” “Temptation,” and most recently: “The Single Moms Club.”
Although Whitney Houston has since then gone to glory, the “I Learned from the Best” diva’s advice to Rihanna must have stuck with her-even through now being offered to play her (ironically) because to date, no meeting has happened yet.
Although Rihanna did lend her voice to the soundtrack for Perrys movie: “Temptation,”
(and even despite how bada$$ and Jersey we all knew Whitney for even being), the offer to play her [Whitney] in a biopic (for Tyler?) is proving to be not quite tempting to Rihanna as yet.
We’ll keep you posted on the G’s if we hear differently.
