Log on of your social media pages and grab the old-fashioned pen and paper to take notes, because Kanye West insists on being the poster child for that inadvertent lesson and example of [rather than rantingtalking about it] keep to yourself-what you want the public to think (or feel…or think of you)-and instead, show ‘em what YOU think (or feel…or think of YOURSELF). Period. Dot.
In this day and age, everybody has a platform by which they can speak, recant (or rant), Kanye typically saves his for the stage—mid concert…or even: mid wedding vow.
Well yet again, Kanye takes to the stage for the first of two shows he headlined at London’s Wireless Festival at Finsbury Park where the first night (4th of July), popped off with boos and heckling.
West had a less than stellar opening night at the shin dig as fans dug in at his decision to rant (yessssssss about the media)-and in exchange, they fired back by booing the Jesus Walks rapper.
He told the crowd, “I’m not particularly angry but they’ve taken the idea of celebrity and tried to make me seem like I’m stupid or something. People keep looking at me like I got a problem or something, like I’m not doing something I’m meant to. The lies, the media, they want to make you feel like you’re less to them in their eye.”
Some other artists that performed at the shin-dig were Iggy Azalea, Pharrell Williams, Bruno Mars, and Robin Thicke.
No word on whether Kanye ranted (ok… “expressed himself”) on the second night of performing, or no.
