My Fellow Thespians.
In case you didn’t know, one of the late night talk show kings: Jimmy Kimmel, does an Oscar show “aftershow” where (no different than his usual nightly show) he pulls out all the stops to keep us laughing.
Considering the fact that his show follows the Oscar’s, he tends to go all out with the extra-funny, and too, keeping it in the spirit of Oscars.
This year, he parodied two notoriously funny YouTube (real life videos) by having real actors parody the video.
Remember this:
Well, have a look at Queen Latifah (as Sweet Brown) and Oscar nominee Barkhad Abdi (of “Captain Phillips”) playing a young Barack Obama.
Adam Driver playing Steve jobs and Matt Damon gets his thespian on by being silence by the REAL “Sweet Brown:”
And Remember this:
Well, in this parody ‘Charlie” and his brother are all grown up and yet, the brother is on a quest for revenge of having his bit. This parody “Bitman Begins” stars Chris and Liam Hemsworth (as the brothers-all grown up), Meryl Streep is their mom and Tom Hanks as their “dark” dad who informs “Charlie” his brother is coming for him.
