Award season is upon us and yesterday, Good Morning America did the honors of announcing American Music Award noms (by which from the looks of things) the Aussie-bred Fancy rapper Iggy Azalea will be the lady of the night and the one to watch.
Azalea is up for six nominations followed by John Legend, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams who are up for five.
Iggy, up for the “New Artist of the Year Award” and too, “Artist of the Year” for her single Fancy, is up against some pretty heavy hitters like Beyonce, Eminem, Katy Perry and One Direction just to name a few.

The official AMAs ceremony which awards artists in 22 categories throughout all genres of music (pop/rock, rap/hip-hop, soul/R&B, Latin contemporary, inspirational contemporary, country, and alternative) will air on ABC on November 23.
