Turns out, Idris Elba (in all the stiffness of his “bow’s” splendor) was on route to be someone else beau for the evening.

The lucky lady who, besides his bow [tie] that had him smiling all night was Naomie Harris, 37.
She was all dressed in a white Naeem Khan dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, a Rauwolf clutch, and David Morris jewelry.
Idris was wearing Christian Louboutin shoes as the two hit the Red Carpet at the 2014 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala on Saturday night, January 4, 2014 (right after his sending that tweet atop this blog).
Well, we don’t know if Naomie had anything to do with his next tweet (after the Gala):
