Hell hath no fury like a baby torn.
Pop diva long overdue and deserving of her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame came to put it down today.
The quintessential Mariah Carey was supported by several of her music industry peers along with “Dem Babies”: Moroccan and Monroe witnessing Mariah’s moment come to fruition and full circle.
“I just want to thank all the fans for coming here today, thank you so much,” she said, as the crowd cheered and screamed in support of Carey. “I can’t thank you enough for being here with me, really. You’re melting my heart. You’re making me cry, and that’s why I’m keeping on my sunglasses, but I cannot thank you enough.
She continued:
“This is a huge honor. It’s a childhood dream come true. It’s been a long time coming, so they say, and I’m very, very, very honored and very humbled and just so thankful to be here.”
The monumental moment was without incident until 4 year-old Morroccan had to be torn away from that woman he and baby sis Monroe stay joined at the hip by.
