Although the hatchet is buried and the two are chums now, if you remember back at the 2009 VMAs Taylor (then 17) almost had her moment stolen when Kanye West unexpectedly took to the stage to suggest that it was Beyonce who should have been the recipient of the award gifted Taylor.
Here’s the sweetest moment—I’m all teary…like…RIGHT now-really-all over again!
Well Beyonce, after winning an award (too) after words; in all her graceful splendor took to the stage and reminisced on what it was like (for her) to be 17 and up for an award. From there, she invited Taylor to step up on the stage with her to get her moment in the lime [that was stolen minutes before by sir Kanye].
Well, the moment obviously has kept Beyonce in Taylor Swift’s good graces and too, is the reason Taylor (still) holds her in high regard because she (Taylor)’s gone on record (this week) stating that her obsession with Beyonce is one such she has to make sure doesn’t pull up on Creepville Avenue.
But according to reports, there’s news about a feat in her favor that just may calm her down a bit and level the playing fields and pitter-patter of her heart and mind.
Just as Beyonce was top seller in 2013, Taylor Swift is 2014’s top seller according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).
CHECK IT OUT:
Taylor Swift was crowned the world’s top-selling artist in 2014, although an industry group said that the Disney soundtrack “Frozen” would have beaten her.
The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, or IFPI, said Monday that Swift was the world’s most popular recording artist last year when accounting for physical sales, downloads and streaming.
Swift dominated US charts in late 2014 but the group said that she was also among the top five artists in the next largest markets of Germany, Japan and Britain.
But the IFPI said that the blockbuster soundtrack to the Disney film “Frozen” would have topped Swift. The industry group, which did not give exact sales figures, awards the top rank solely to an individual artist.
British boy band One Direction, which topped the list in 2013 year, was number two, followed by British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and then more established acts Coldplay and AC/DC.Michael Jackson was sixth, even though the King of Pop died in 2009.
Swift’s album “1989” last year sold 1.2 million copies in its first week in the United States, the top haul since Eminem’s “The Eminem Show” in 2002 when overall music sales were far higher.
Swift has topped the charts, which now factor in streaming services, despite her high-profile fight with Spotify. Swift last year pulled her music from the growing Swedish streaming site, urging it to (cont’d)
TAYLOR ON HER OBSESSION WITH BEYONCE
Since our friends over at E! have caught on to OSF’s handy-dandy tool of satire or sarcasm we use (when we cross out a word or sentence before the chosen word to carry the sentence on) and they are now using it themselves, we decided to pick their story about Taylor’s love for Beyonce. Why? Because E! got love for us! LOVE you E! *does the big far away wide ‘hello’ and wave*

Taylor Swift should be gearing up to perform at the 2015 Brit Awards on Wednesday, but instead she’s too busy fan-girling over Beyonce! (As is everyone else.)
“I love her more than the normal amount,” she dished to KissFMUK.
Throughout the interview, the “Style” singer confessed that she doesn’t mind losing out on an award if it means she’ll get to be in the same room as Queen Bey; however, the radio show host couldn’t confirm whether or not the “7/11” singer would actually be in attendance.
“I try really hard not to like let [my fandom] get creepy,” she said. “I just really like channel it into a joyous admiration and appreciation.”
Although she joked talked about her love of Beyoncé for some time, T.Swift also dished on what it’s really like to be up for an award, especially when you find yourself pitted against your best pals.
“I’m nominated usually against lots of my friends, so you have to—just for the sake of humanity and for the sake of having a good time—legitimately be happy for other people,” she explained.
It sounds like she has a really positive outlook on how to handle herself, but having won so many awards, she’s probably used to winning more often than she loses! But none of that matters to the country-turned-pop star.
“See, that’s the only way that I’ll be upset is if we don’t get to see Beyoncé,” she added. “I won’t be upset because I didn’t win. I’ll just be like, ‘I wish that we could see her all the time.'”
The megastar is set to sing “Blank Space” during this year’s show, but she previously performed “I Knew You Were Trouble” during the 2013 awards. When asked what has changed for her in the two years that she has been away from the show, she dished that “a lot” is different.
“I have a lot more really good girlfriends,” she revealed before joking, “I guess I have a pop album now.”
And let’s not forget, she has (cont’d)
