play a part in points 3 and 4 (page 2), while Damon Wayan’s truth and stance about the situation most probably is (what I mentioned is points 1 and 2-on page 2).
So, we’re all even, a little guilty, and need to think ourselves through, too (given our perceptions in points 3 and 4 or like I did after I read the 1st deposition).
We have to admit: It’s HARD seeing these women’s plights-because they’re older women now.
It’s HARD, thinking “Dr. Huxtable” raping women and besides…why were they alone with Bill Cosby like such? We’ve all thought that.
In closing, although we know it was a joke, still…we all need to take serious-what “rape” is about: It’s not about being “rapeable,” (good-looking or sexy enough to be taken advantage of). It’s not about a man being “horny” (in most all cases).
Rape is about power-a sense of powerlessness in which another person is overpowered and taken advantage of via [a spiritual part of the body] where life is birthed and is mentally and/or emotionally left deadened [and having their power taken away for that moment of time]-whether it be consciously and knock down drag out rape (or whether it be unconsciously…………………………………………………where the ability to consent or or say “no” is taken away)…
