The law of power? Or the law of coward?
What do you do to lessen the shame?
Douse it with more of the same!
That’s right.
Talk about due diligence already.
Comedian Bill Cosby performed in London, Ontario last night to a crowd-despite protesters protesting outside.
Typically you know that at any comedy show, it’s guaranteed to go down in that front row.
While it’s always cool (and necessary) to laugh at ourselves when we are going through things, but are the rules the same for Bill Cosby [currently under fire for several allegations of drugging, then raping several women?].
Well, be that as it may (or may not be) Bill Cosby took a moment to laugh, [at himself?].
You be the judge.
A woman in the crowd (at the Budweiser Gardens venue) was stepping away from the audience and headed to the bar to get a drink. Cosby was said to have asked the woman where she was headed.
His reply (pointing to his bottle of water), he quipped:
“I already have one. You have to be careful about drinking around me.”
Although gasps quickly changed to cheers, one male fan stood up and yelled:
“We don’t love you Bill!”
The man was quickly removed but not without yelling:
“You are a rapist. I’m being ejected because you are a rapist.”
Life, and the show went on without incident as, Cosby released a statement through his publicist-in so many words, alluding to the nights incident [that had gotten isolated]:
“Dear Fans: One outburst but over 2600 loyal, patient and courageous fans enjoyed the most wonderful medicine that exist for human-kind. Laughter. I thank you, the theatre staff (Budweiser Gardens), the event organizers and the London, ON Community for your continued honor and support. I’m Far From Finished.”
If it turns out that he is indeed innocent. It was effing hilarious!!!!!!!!
But, if he knows [with the exception of the one-Andrea Constand-with whom he settled out of court] that even without having gotten these issues dealt with the remaining accusers yet–knowing full well the allegations are true; then he’s a just a presumptuous pig who feels like he is above the law and that his money, and lawyers are going to handle everything.
How do yous feel about that?
