Beyonce tour.
Beyoncé has a big next few weeks ahead of her, including an appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, and a headlining spot at Jay-Z’s Made in America Festival in Philadelphia over Labor Day Weekend. At the end of September, Beyoncé will also headline The Global Citizens Festival in New York City’s Central Park. Could the singer’s major headlining appearances in the next month foreshadow a bigger tour announcement in the near future?
In her last tour runs, Beyoncé tickets yielded impressive results. From 2013-2014, the singer performed on her The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, which hit 103 dates over six legs. According toThe Billboard Boxscore, the tour’s overall gross totaled $178 million from more than 1.5 million tickets sold. Many international dates were incredibly competitive, including a Feb. 23 date in Birmingham, England at the LG Arena, where the average secondary ticket price was $677.47, with a get-in ticket price of $507, according to Ticketbis.
In the summer of 2014, Beyonce hit the road again with her husband Jay-Z for their joint On The Run Tour, and the results were successful, despite rumors of their personal lives insisting otherwise. The tour brought in about $5.2 million per night, and saw an average attendance of nearly 45,000 fans per show. When Bey and Jay hit Paris on Sept. 12, the average secondary ticket price was $321, with a get-in ticket price of $201.
The 2015 Global Citizen Festival, a music and social event that aims to combat inequality and extreme poverty, will feature a handful of the world’s most popular artists on Sept. 26. Although the festival is free, fans looking to get into the lottery must complete a series of global initiatives. Entry is guaranteed, but 48,000 free tickets will be given away. With Beyoncé as a top headliner, secondary market tickets are pricey. A pass on the secondary market is currently averaging $1,040, with a get-in price of (cont’d)
Perhaps he may be on to something as, only two days from now will tell and we’ll know for sure [what it is].
But on the B-side of that; the flippant rumor that this Beyonce and Jay Z album we’ve been hearing about due us since their On The Run tour has been on the run in and of itself.
In considering the fact that having come off such a successful tour together, had Tidal stayed afloat as anticipated, the joint musical matrimony most certainly would have gone on as planned [as the Tidal exclusive it was going to be].
The game don’t stop ‘cause a player gets knocked however. As we reported to yous already (courtesy of our brokering that creative connection) *cheesy smile, Beyonce is currently in studio cooking up something with rap group Bone Thugs in Harmony and a few other artists in preparation for another Bey drop soon.
P.S.
We’re gonna bring the beat in again one more time as, you cannot imagine how much this song does number on my heart. I love this song. It’s just in, of me, and’s happened to me.
Have at it…rock with me:
