One Direction fans certainly proved there is no route they wouldn’t take to see their favorite boy band.
Fans let their fingers do the walking over the keyboards of the World Wide Web-proving that for One Direction, they are willing to go: North, South, East, West…or even to Milan, Italy for the popular pop group-who were thrilled to announce an instantaneous price slash for their Saturday night show at the Stadio San Siro: slashed down to a whopping $13.00!.
Although the seats weren’t exactly in arms reach and eye view, and despite the restricted view (most probably from behind some big, annoying statue or pillar)–the frenzy still went on.
But obviously, such frenzy didn’t go without incident however. The Italian website crashed, so apologies were an order. Who, but One Direction’s Niall Horan stepped up to apologize via a social media post: “Sorry to all those who tried to buy the new 10 Euro tickets for tonight. The site crashed! But it’s back up and running.”
Hear Ye, Hear Ye Fans of One Direction:
Don’t fret the frenzy and if you didn’t have the fastest fingers.
According to Niall, that very $13.00 show will be filmed for a concert DVD and as well, Horan was straight up about that being the reason why the special ticket price was offered: to make sure the venue was packed-standing room only.
The boy band member wrote (quote): “Milan! Filming our DVD… at San Siro! Tickets have been sold out for a year but we’re releasing a few more restricted view seats… Want as many of u guys 2 come & be part of it… A few restricted view tkts will go on sale for 10 Euros!… Milan you are gona be watch from all over the world! You gotta be loud, crazy.” (unquote).
