Fired-smired, who cares?
Who cares if he quit or got fired.
He says he quit. (The WWE says he got fired).
As you may well know by now WWE Wrestler Hulk Hogan is suing Gawker Media for $100 million dollars for the published leaked video of him having sex with old friend’s ex wife Heather Clem: radio personality Todd Alan Clem’s ex wife.
To add insult to indecency, conversation between Clem and Hogan (ranting about his 27 year-old daughter Brooke rumored to be seeing a black man) was leaked by Radar Online and The National Enquirer-laden with racial slurs and epithets by which the WWE does not want to be associated with.
“She is making some real bad decisions now,”
“My daughter Brooke jumped sides on me. I spent $2-3 million on her music career, I’ve done everything like a jackass for her.”
“The one option Brooke had, Brooke’s career besides me, is to sell beach records.”
“I don’t know if Brooke was f*cking the black guy’s son.”
“I mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f*cking n*ggers. But then when it comes to nice people and sh*t, and whatever.”
“I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f*ck some n*gger, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n*gger worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player!
“I guess we’re all a little racist. Fucking n*gger.”
…As a result (of the recording of those statements), along with removing his existence from the WWE’s alumni page, Hall of Fame page and roster; the 61year-old WWE champion was fired-[smired].
The WWE gave this statement:
“[The] WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide,” the company said in a statement to Radar. As Wrestling News Source points out, all mention of Hogan has been removed from the company’s Web site, including all of his merchandise.”
Although the lawsuit (suing Gawker for leaking it) is on its way to Florida, the self-proclaimed born again Christian released this statement to our friends at
People:
“Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation. It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it.”
“This is not who I am. I believe very strongly that every person in the world is important and should not be treated differently based on race, gender, orientation, religious beliefs or otherwise. I am disappointed with myself that I used language that is offensive and inconsistent with my own beliefs.”
The good news:
He’s no Jessie Ventura who extended his wrestling career onto politics and the study of government conspiracy theories useful to the benefit of the American people.
Let’s give that a round of applause.
That being said, I could really care less about Hulk Hogan being racist as, he hasn’t done or is concerned with any condition of the human plight or experience (as is Jessie Ventura) but on the flip side (pun intended) aside from it having been “leaked;”
I can accept how he feels-even though I do not respect it (I only respect things of such disdain and shame if they are said and done shamelessly and out in the open).
But let’s keep it real here about racism:
If Hulk Hogan could speak for the entire white + non black race of people, he’d be speaking for [not all of them] but a great majority.
The truth is: White people and non black people are indeed racists-no matter how cool they are, and seem. They are inherently racist to the extent that it is almost in their blood and apart of their DNA. As a result of memories of a past in a country that (although abolished its long-running form of oppression on the backs of and by which this same country was built) the remnants and reasons gave way to a form of superiority believed to be warranted and just–that over time, became “not proper” to exhibit brazenly…therefore, practiced: secretly–in the mind and heart, and demonstratively in various ways in life (or straight off the tongue if need be).
So you see, it’s not entirely a racists “fault” however, it only becomes a fault or their fault when they become of an age of understanding of the world around them-yet refuse to make a conscious decision to redirect their judgment, prejudice and rest comfortable in their preconceived notions and outdated ideals about how other races and the black race is, or should be treated [less than].
“Racism” is not necessarily a condition in which one race hates another race of people simply because of the color of their skin. Racism is a school of thought. And a racist person has class on Sunday: Non existent. They have no class, no matter how rich, how affluent, how dressed up, or how decorated they are or seem—they are all a disadvantaged group of people and elected to be so because it requires too much thought and assembly not to be, so they’d rather just sit in that while in the world with mankind. It’s their comfort zone.
Racism is a condition of a lazy mind of classless people who make the decision not to be conscious of their preconceived ideas about another race of people as a whole.
Actually, there are some non black and white people who would carry fantasies in their heads of putting yours on a stick for calling them racists and are quite offended by being called racists. That is because they have class, and they know that racism is a school of thought. And to be racist or be called a racist, or be thought of as racist is like the decision to stand in line and get “Stupid” or “Smart” stamped across your forehead.
Choosing to make the decision to hang out in the “stupid” line to proudly get your stamp is the equivalent of a frame of thinking, and school of thought [like]:
“Why would you elect to walk around with the scarlet letters of ‘stupid’ on your forehead when you had the option to be stamped ‘smart’ when all it takes is knowing that some assembling is required of your thinking? Are you that lazy minded and out of control of your self, your thinking and your actions?”
Racist people haven’t the capacity to understand the power and privilege it is to be able to utilize your privilege and power: Dominion.
Humans have dominion over animals.
And it is only animals who haven’t the capacity to rationalize, discern, use intellect, and aren’t born with intuition.
Human beings have dominion over animals because animals are only born with the capacity to be lead by, and use “instinct.” They can’t talk it out, and think it out: They have to kill or be killed-so says their kingdom.
Humans have rationalization, intellect, discernment, intuition-hence our power of dominion over all creatures at land, sky and sea (as long as we steer clear of their territory).
That is what makes a racist an animal: because he makes the decision to not exercise and use his power and privilege of dominion (therefore: stay away from his/her territory as the animals they are).
White, or non black people who are offended by your calling them “racists” know that they have the infinite and indefinite mental capacity and social dexterity to apply judgment on any person, group, or race on an individual basis solely stemming from their own personal (person to person) experience with that group, or person of another race.
A racist does not.
Although a fine line of a seemingly same difference, it’s quite the contrary however.
A racist’s thinking only extends to temporarily referring to a, or some people in a race opposite them as “cool” or “nice,” but still do not have the capacity to stick with not passing judgment or being prejudice to that race as a whole-so they take comfort in picking out a few that their minds will make them feel okay about momentarily being able to tolerate.
So…are YOU a racist?
