While You Were Meek-ing: LAURYN HILL’s “Feeling Good”: The Music Recluse Stepped Out to Stop By THE TONIGHT SHOW Starring JIMMY FALLON

While battling and shooting: lyrics, disses (and misses); one side of music was “imitating Al Capone” Lauryn Hill was busy doing what she rapped about best: [being] “Nina Simone, and defecating on your microphone.”

That’s right.

Lauryn Hill is indeed feeling good and still out and about; steadily climbing many while losing no momentum.

The consistent musical reclusive and vocal powerhouse is still touring and managing to rear all these beautiful children (she miraculously sneaked and had under our noses over the past 15 years since the 8x Grammy winner’s successful last studio album)–and she’s stopping no time soon.

She did however, stop by The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to perform her cover and rendition of the Nina Simone jazz classic “Feeling Good”-off the critically acclaimed Nina Simone compilation Nina Revisited (from the Netflix original documentary).
