It’s always been my one of favorite parts in the movie (minute marker 1:52:20 through 1:52:40).
…I can do it by heart about as much as this movie classic is to my heart:

Should she have it her way, one of those “babies” Diana’s speaking of having for that “pretty n%%a over there” (Billy Dee Williams) is going to be named “Cookie Lyon.”
Actress Taraji P. Henson has been getting her way here of late as, the Critic’s Choice Award winning actress just recently snagged the coveted Best Actress in a Drama Series award for her role as Cookie Lyon on the Fox hit Empire.
Although it was nothing short of a dream that she just so happened to be the first black actress to snag that award in particular,
…Taraji has other dreams right in line with that: To have Diana Ross and Billy Dee Williams play her mom and dad on her hit television drama.
The actress tells Us Weekly about the Mahogony and Lady Sings the Blues stars “My wish would be for Diana Ross and Billy Dee Williams to play my parents.”
Well if six-degrees degrees of separation would have it, Ross’ real-life daughter, actress Tracee Ellis-Ross was in the same building.
Whether or not word got back to her colleague or not [about her mother] the Twitter fairy just blew her in and perhaps that just might be arranged on Empire.
Who knows?
