While MTV took a moment to drop by to congratulate Nicki Minaj on her “Best Hip Hop Video Award: nod
Congrats, @NickiMinaj on your Best Hip-Hop Video #VMA nomination! Let's work out to it! http://t.co/Ya6yJZgUfN pic.twitter.com/wpuVDNUedq

…Nicki Minaj felt it was their decision that needed a bit of a work out.
But when you forget what you are picking up an award for just less than 30 days ago, when the committee meets and the fans speak-they just may think you wouldn’t even notice what, if any, award nods you got anyways.
At-at! (Not so fast though).
While her label mate, Drake (who never even shows up to the show), received zero nods this year, Feelin’ Myself artist Nicki Minaj indeed was paying attention, and this time, she was not feeling this year’s MTV VMA award nod—that “Anaconda” didn’t get nominated for Video of the Year.
That being so, the outspoken rapper slithered right over and injected a lil’ venom their way:
Lol u guys did we miss the deadline?? #MTV? https://t.co/5yUtYZZn3m

Hey guys @MTV thank you for my nominations. 😘😘😘 Did Feeling Myself miss the deadline or…?

If I was a different "kind" of artist, Anaconda would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well. 😊😊😊

Ellen did her own anaconda video and did the #choreo lol. Remember her doing that kick 😩. Even mtv did a post on the choreo @MTV remember?

U couldn't go on social media w/o seeing ppl doing the cover art, choreo, outfits for Halloween…an impact like that & no VOTY nomination?
— Mrs. Petty (@NICKIMINAJ) July 21, 2015
When the "other" girls drop a video that breaks records and impacts culture they get that nomination. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
