With the new season of Scandal upon us, Olivia Pope I mean: Kerry Washington is certainly handling things about town, Tinseltown, television, and print-nonstop.
Last night our girl stopped by to see talk show host Seth Meyers where the two laughed it up about people being so addicted and into Scandal that even during times she is online interacting with fans, some have a hard time reckoning with the fact that they are not online with “Olivia Pope”—her character (but when things get too bad, Washington has a way to “handle” it):
To the head and high chairs over at Accessories Council ACE Awards there’s no mistaking who Kerry Washington is-aside from portraying “Olivia Pope.”
Held in New York City just yesterday, Kerry was recognized and awarded as “Influencer of the Year” at the 18th annual event. As well, Kerry’s [Scandal] wardrobe designer Lyn Paolo (who’s very instrumental in getting Olivia Pope’s look available and affordable at The Limited) was honored as well.
Although notoriously known for her naturally beautiful good looks and exotic features, Kerry Washington’s allure far extends her beauty. Being Olivia Pope, she has beauty and fashion on a whole other level to tend to and handle.
Modeling Zac Posen, Lanvin, Tomas Maier, Stella McCartney, Washington recently did a cover shoot with Allure (magazine) where she talked about sex scenes [with “Fitz”/the president] played by Tony Goldwyn.
And although becoming Olivia Pope may very well seem au naturale, Washington did face challenges in her career believe it or not.
