Kanye (#YeezusReturns) returns to Club Trouble to do that radio interview yesterday, but aired this morning-and although he talked about his business ventures and other things ‘Kanye,’ obviously (considering the week’s wrangle with the Kardashian’s v. his ex: Amber Rose) the spotlight was shined on what Kanye was going to say about that, first.
So let’s cut to the chase, here is what he said on that (Tyga and Kylie, Kim v. Amber / Khloe etc):
On Amber Rose:
“If Kim had dated me when I first wanted to be with her, there wouldn’t be an Amber Rose.” He added, “It’s very hard for a woman to wanna be with someone that’s with Amber Rose. I had to take thirty showers before I got with Kim.”
“Don’t ask me no more cause I wanna be respectful.”
Obviously, the quips went flying:
Now with regard to that, it was just a couple days ago (after the Amber / Khloe incident-but before this morning’s Kanye interview), it was being reported that it was on the tip of Amber’s phalanges to press the ‘send’ button on Kanye’s old personal texts where (allegedly), he was dissing Kim to her (you know-that stuff boyfriends do to make their girlfriend they’re with feel secure).
Additionally, a source said: “Kanye didn’t allow her (Amber) to have a voice and she isn’t afraid to admit it. She knows everything about that man and is going to spill it all. She will tell every his penis size and what he likes doing in bed if this drama doesn’t end soon.”
Well, I don’t know how she felt about yesterday’s TMZ spill and what, if anything she felt about Kim’s social media post following it, or if she is going to feel a way about Kanye’s interview TIDBIT that he said [about her] this morning, but my opinion is this: She should not even respond/react/reply. I don’t even think he was saying he needed “30 showers” because Amber was not a clean girl. It sounded (to me) like he was referring to her stripper past. Amber should just let it all ride. The Internet talk of [about 3 minutes of statements involving her] isn’t even worth Round 2 of a Kardashian v. Amber Rose conflict.
On Tyga and Kylie Jenner:
“I think he got in early, I think he was smart. They are closer in age than a lot of relationships that I know. I knew Tyga was smart.” [he interjected he] “can’t speak on nobody’s relationship.”
At any rate.
Back to other interview highlights:
On the BET Honors . Why He Let Dame Dash (with whom he is rumored to be a nemesis of) Present Him With the Award of Honor:
“Because he [Dame Dash] presented me to the world. You know I wouldn’t even havea record deal if it weren’t for Dame Dash.”
On Whether Beyonce and Kim Kardashian Have beef:
“No, they love each other. They respect each other. When Beyonce’s working on an album, she has like pictures of Kim on the wall, because Kim represents powerful women. Kim be playing ‘7/11,’ playing that video, playing it for our daughter. They definitely respect each other.”
On Beyonce:
“I think Beyonce is a great representation of an artist working hard, and trying her best and getting the results from it.”
On His Dinner with Taylor Swift/Beck’s Grammy-Winning Album:
“The other day I went to dinner and sat down with Taylor Swift, and ironically they were playing the Beck album. Maybe they did it on purpose so I could finally hear it. But I was like ‘man, this is kinda good.’ I ain’t even gonna lie.”
“I bet you the album is really good. I’m gonna listen to the album, and maybe it was potentially an album of the year. But the Grammys are still … they have a commercial component to it. And they want to sell commercials.”
About Beck:
“I got his number, and I was supposed to call, but I just keep forgetting.”

All in all it a was good interview, and less negativity (on behalf of the hosts)–which too, set the precedent for a better interview from Kanye. Less egging on the negativity gave Kanye a better platform to explain his views, why, and what his vision was over all. I see the “why” in this interview with Kanye and what he stands for like never before. Granted, he said some things I have quite an opinion about, but that’s another blog. The “gist” was necessary-and heard.
