With the globe being warmed over, although many of us may not be getting the traditional, cold, winter white Christmas’ we’ve grown used to; the celestial is still doing its consistent, predictable thing and as per it, we get our first full moon on Christmas Day in over 38 years!
Full moons are a time we feel the polarity’s push and pull of the sign with which it is opposite. In this case, the full moon in Cancer is its opposite: Capricorn (where the sun is currently positioned currently through January 20)
The fact that the moon is associated with the zodiac sign of Cancer, and December 25th’s full moon is at the Cancer constellation in the celestial, this is great for Christmas Day as, Christmas itself is associated with family, tradition, and food as is the zodiac sign Cancer-the archetypal ‘mother’ of the zodiac who, as well is associated with caring, nurturing, security and home.
Ruled by the moon, this water sign is emotional, moody, instinctual and energy-intuitive.

Beginning 11:11 a.m. UT, the celestial spirit of our uniquely special Christmas Day is said to very much lend itself to the ambiance of the entire December 25 day the full moon is in Cancer. Look forward to that very same Cancer quality feel throughout the day!
Obviously, this full moon will show its full self in all its splendor come evening/dawn. Enjoy!
