One thing for certain and two-for sure-is that whether you’re famous on not, the playing field is leveled for the lure of grabbing that 15 minutes of fame even if in exchange for shame.
Take for instance Bloomsberg University junior infielder Joey Castleberry who, regarding 14 year-old baseball phenom Mo’ne Davis, took a swing at insensitivity and knocked it right out the park with this here derog tweet:
The university caught wind of this grand slam and noted (via Twitter):
Bloomsburg Univ is deeply saddened by what was written about #MoneDavis by one of our student-athletes. His words do not represent us.

We take matter very seriously; addressed the issue with the student-athlete (who has been dismissed from team), coach, and the team.

Despite being the second leading hitter hitting .389 through six games before this social media swing of shame, still, the home run got him sent packing: name removed from the 2014/2015 roster and the player was dismissed.
(As well, he deleted his Twitter account).
The young athlete has forgiven him however, and noted:
Everyone makes mistakes and I know—he would if it was me—I know I would want to take that back. …
… Everyone makes mistakes everyone deserves a second chance. I know he didn’t mean it that type of way. … I know a lot of people get of tired of just seeing me on TV.
Mo’ne Davis is a record-breaking baseball prodigy who is about to have her life story premier on the Disney Channel as, she is the first girl to win and throw a shutout in LLWS history.
Word to Castleberry: I get it dude. It can be hard to differentiate when your vision is so clouded by a perception of what a 14-year old “slut” does on social media accounts and such-trust me, I get it.
Be how hard could it be to see the difference in a 14 year-old girl……………wearing the same uni as you and doing the same thing as you?
How come she couldn’t be seen as being on her way to greatness…………………… as WERE you?
She wasn’t twerkin’-just…ya know: ‘slangin’ ‘ (and #winning).
