About last night:
A thriller in Manila………almost happened.
You know…you put a call in to your job, you’ll probably only set the company back a few hours, and upset a person or two.
But when you call in to your scheduled concert just a few hours before show time-that’s a different story altogether.
How befitting–the advertisement with a circus tent–considering the fact that Brown, clowned.
Chris Brown (the main event) was slated to perform in Manila by bringing the New Year in with the natives at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan along with Bamboo, Morrisette, KZ Tandinga, Enrique Gil, Sam Concepcion and others.
Although other than an apology:
#TeamBreezyManila! Due to unfortunate circumstances I can't bring in the new year with you…
— Chris Brown (@chrisbrown) December 31, 2014
…a [compliment?]:
Too bad since the Philippines Arena is one of the best arenas in the world! Stay tuned Team Breezy!!!!"
— Chris Brown (@chrisbrown) December 31, 2014
…and a reincheck for raining on their parade:
#TeamBreezyManila I'll see you in spring!
— Chris Brown (@chrisbrown) December 31, 2014
…he left no rhyme or reason to toll his absence. But our friend Ian Jarrell over at Girl That’s My Song turned states evidence in on the young lad:
Brown spent his New Year with his on-again, off-again lady love: Karrueche.
The show went on however:
..as did Karrueche’s heart who, just last month, swore him off forever.
At any rate. Obviously his fans (and others) had this to say:
