After Seeing STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON, Just When OPRAH Gets Her Cherry Broken On Understanding of Rap–In Walks The World of Social Media: Remembering the Time….

Needless to say, Oprah’s name in the rap community has been a pretty ‘touchy’ area and her relationship and understanding of rap required a bit of a ‘fine-tuning’ (before she should ever make such a blanket statement about rap (even if on her very on stage and platform).

However, on the flip side of all this, and since all the videos above; Oprah invited Jay Z onto her show for an interview and it went over pretty well. Be (although Jay Z and Ludacris after two different styles of rappers) even Jay Z’s m.o is kin to the same rap m.o as the Ludacris in that (like Ludacris, although he wasn’t completely exempt from some concern in his lyrics), still, Oprah had the wrong rapper.
