Malcolm is in the middle of it all—even if he doesn’t want to be.
The Cosby Show’s Malcolm Jamal Warner was Bill Cosby’s only begotten son. Whosoever remained mum that is—until now.
In case you didn’t now Warner is meannnn on the horn and fly with the spoken word.
He’s not only an actor-but he’s nominated for a Grammy award this year-for it.
This time, Malcolm-Jamal Warner is speaking a different kind of word: about Bill Cosby.
Just recently, he talked to Billboard about his career in music and (much to his surprise) his Grammy nod for his work on Robert Glasper’s Black Radio 2 where too, he spoke about his tv dad’s most recent scandal:
“He’s one of my mentors, and he’s been very influential and played a big role in my life as a friend and mentor. Just as it’s painful to hear any woman talk about sexual assault, whether true or not, it’s just as painful to watch my friend and mentor go through this, ” expressed Warner.
He added:
“I can’t really speak on any of the allegations because obviously, I was not there. The Bill Cosby I know has been great to me and great for a lot of people. What he’s done for comedy and television has been legendary and history-making. What he’s done for the black community and education has been invaluable. That’s the Bill Cosby I know. I can’t speak on the other stuff.”
Well said, Malcolm. Well said.
