Raven, did see this one comin’ ..betcha THAT!
“Raven is smart, funny and genuine. We’ve loved getting to know her, and we’re all thrilled she’ll be part of The View every day,” said executive producer of the show: Bill Wolff. “She brings a fresh perspective on the hot topics of the day, and she’s a lively, welcome addition to our conversations and interviews.”
SO…that makes it official!
Disney darling (slash) delicately defiant dame Raven Symone (That’s So Raven)’s welcomed visit to ABC’s The View as a guest a co-host yielded her some walk-on papers.
“The Disney Company has made another one of my dreams come true! Being a part of The View family will be a wonderful growing experience for me. The cast and crew are warm and welcoming and has made the transition into daytime talk easier. I have a lot to learn within this new arena, but being the apprentice of these spectacular women will only make me a better person and talk show host. I want to thank ABC, ABC News and The Disney Company for believing in me and my potential! Let’s have some fun!”
It was made official today that the former Cosby Show child-star would be a permanent fixture at the roundtable of opinionated women who [as the shows premise has always been pitched]: A show with women of varying points of views that’s always ranged from extreme, to right wing, and everything in between. Now entre vous: Raven.
Announced at the live taping this morning, Raven will be joining Whoopi Goldberg, Nicolle Wallace, and Rosie Perez (with whom she cohosted and obviously meshed with during the more than one time she was asked to cohost).
“I am so happy. I remember coming on The View when I was 15 years old for the first Cheetah Girls. I’m very happy to be sitting with these smart, talented mentors.”
Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy left the show during season 17.
Season 18 (beginning September) got off to a great start-all coffee cups runneth over and the table was filled with Rosie Perez, Rosie O’Donnell, Nicolle and Whoopi.
Citing “personal reasons,” when Rosie O’Donnell left just this past February, the empty seat got a workout with revolving guests that as of today, is permanently filled by Raven Symone.
Sandwiched by Bill Wolff giving Raven the thumbs up, although retired from the show, Barbara Walters is still credited as creator of the show and remains its executive producer, still.
She topped it off by saying [quote]
“Raven- Symoné is a welcome addition to The View. She is happy, amusing and well informed, and has already brought a unique perspective to the program that has resonated with our audience” [unquote].
Pink hair-don’t care. From blonde to hot pink and still having fun!
Bubbly (and hot) talk show host and mom of teens (still looking about as close in age as them both) unveiled a drastic change today: A complete hair color change.
With her blessed youthful looks it may seem as though her two teens got a friend in their mom but ohhh no.
As we’ve reported to yous before, surprisingly, as bubbly, fun and wild-child as she is, when it comes to parenting, social media and school; she makes it clear she is noooo “friend” of the family. That is where she draws the line!
Although the lines of draw traveling through her blonde tresses came without warning, she did leave a cryptic message stating “for the love of P!NK @ryantrygstadhair you are boss!”
Pink hair-done that…….been there:
….Rihanna’s currently loving her brick-red tresses here of late, the singer’s been caught red-handed hanging out with soccer star Karim Benzema a couple of times over the past seven days.
Just before game 1 of the NBA finals (spirited, where she attended-routing for Cleveland Cavs’ Lebron), she was later, caught red-handed: shouting his name by the locker rooms.
The backstage uproar caused a bit of a social media high score…and rather than being seen on the scene near (and backstage) of the paint this time around, the pop star elected to be there in spirit and instead, spend game 2 hanging out with friends and family: Having thrown her favorite niece (Majesty) a Flintstone-themed birthday party theme and festively dressed, with her red-hair blown out.
Rocking the same blown out hairstyle, Rihanna was seen on the scene (yet again) back out with her soccer star friend Benzema (circa— her usual style as with all her “dates”): handlers in between. But hey-the gravel and ground matches up, right?
Not so fast (hence why I’m always on guard around my entire circumference and surroundings): Leave it up to a fan who just so happened to be near the soccer player and singer, and viola! Evidence! LoL
For those invested or inspired by who Rihanna’s dating (or no) don’t read too much into these photos, sources say the Benzema’s circle and Rihanna’s circle also hang out, so.
