The man linked to the shooting up of rapper Lil’ Wayne’s tour bus back in April this year was not only bound over to a grand jury and indicted, but too, is now slapped with a charge of “domestic terrorism” because, at some point in this-obviously before the incident actually took place-he (allegedly) told Wayne would “spray his bus.”
While the July indictment also linked rapper Young Thug and former Lil’ Wayne business partner and friend Birdman, neither of the two have been charged (despite the fact that the hitman, Jimmy Winfrey, asserts the hit was indeed put out by Birdman who was, and is still currently been at odds with Lil Wayne).
Although Birdman recently just did and extended interview with Angie Martinez, (insisting that regardless of whatever he and Wayne are going through, he would never allow anyone else to disrespect or hurt him), Winfrey insists that nothing could be further from the truth and strongly feels Birdman should be held as a “liable party to the crime.”
Popular culture history would have it that the last time a hitman did a job like such, unlike Lil’ Wayne (who lived and dodged the bullets), the intended person died shot by Van Brett Watkins on a hit put out by then Carolina Panthers’ Rae Carruth, gave birth and died.
