Why MICHAEL B. JORDAN’s “Creed” (An Extension of My Favorite ROCKY Franchises) Had BETTER Be Good!

 

THIS FRANCHISE IS SOOOO HUMANNNNNNNN!

And I just got this news!

You’d have to scour my timeline here to understand my love for the Rocky franchise.

To know me thought is to know that I am in l.o.v.e with Rocky’s 1-4 and along with so many, am hopelessly in love with Rocky and Adrian’s beach scene and conversation here:

I am so whipped and in love with she and Rocky’s growth from the very first Rocky through 5^th Rocky (my favs).

 

 

As well, I love the different relationship dynamics between Rocky and smart mouth Pauly, Mickey, and all characters up to and including his relationship with Apollo Creed

 

 

 

 

…(how they started off as rivals and ended up being friends through and to the time he lost him to Drago-one of my TOP Rocky franchises—with Drago):

 

 

Natural (Rocky)  vs. artificial training (Drago) and how Adrian shows up in Russia after telling Rocky “You can’t win!”

 

How her presence and pleasant surprise gave him strength twice over:

 

OBVIOUSLY I can go on and on about the movie but I’ll stop here (so that I can show you the trailer for the movie “Creed”) starring Michael B. Jordan.

 

Well “Creed” is supposed to be an extension of the Rocky franchise where Jordan will play the offspring of Apollo Creed’s son Adonis who now steps into the ring and gets trained by Rocky after meeting him:

“I heard about a third fight between you and Apollo behind close doors, is that true?” asks the fighter.

“How do you know all this?” asks Rocky.

Declares Johnson: “I’m his son.”

 

Let me tell you something.

There are just a few movies that I can sit on the couch all day on a Sunday-eating a bowl a cereal in thick wooly socked feet stuffed in the couch> Rocky is one of them (It’s GOT to be close to my heart such that it can get the same attentive treatment as my Bruce Lee movies!)

You’d have to know me to understand!

I’m obsessed!

That being said, I cannot wait to give “Creed” a chance!

It HAS to pass my test. HAS to! I’m looking out for it…
