you MUST make peace with it and control your own emotions, spirit, soul, and life in areas where you can.

asshole
 VALID POINT? REALLY?

Posts like this is useless suspension of energy when (since we are going hold on to the stereotype in the details of the post), then it’s safe to say that perhaps that cute car was bought with a large down payment from that hefty income tax check she gets at the beginning of every year for those 12 kids she takes care of.

Trust me, I’ve stood in line (at a Walmart) and saw stacks upon stacks of cash being cashed at income tax time. I don’t get mad, I turn my head and simply say: “let her stunt and ball. It only comes one time a year for her.”

When I stand in line at a Walmart (or any grocery store), ‘what you eat doesn’t make me fat.’ I’ll only read you the Riot Act if you are in the 12 items or less line in front of me while I’m holding 7 items and trying to get through the line.

As an egalitarian whose basic political and social belief is in the literal greater good, I could care less who that “good” serves greatest in that majority-especially if the “lesser” of that greater isn’t exactly suffering beneath, below or in/for direct exchange of accommodating that “greater good.”

When it comes to situations like such, I can see where it’s easier to reach for the closest ‘victim’ to us-when with just a careful, meticulous, search of all to which our tax dollars are going, the results and knowledge of would definitely enrage us but still…(given the same “business” of this country as complaining about food stamps welfare) there still would be nothing we could do about it just the same.

That being the case, understand that it’s MUCH easier to point out and be angry to the extent of our knowledge, research, and fingers at ground level-than it is to the higher ups because we already know there is nothing we can do about it anyway-except:

  • pay (our tax dollars)
  • get out the country

or

  • ball out like ‘those people’ who (believe it or not)-still work and pay taxes in order to even receive that SAME book of food stamps that (on your angry on a budget-minded salary / “6 days per week little paycheck” you complain about going to taxes to pay for the ‘lazy’) are too, available to you (too).

So put your judgment away, pride aside, go get your food stamps too or simply make peace with it. Because there aint no ‘peace’ like the humiliation of hours in line of a humiliating place after being patted down like a criminal by rude officers and surrounded by stressed, crying babies roaming about while sitting in dingy, dirty seats of a dimly lit depressing building only to be called hours later to sit across from some woman or man with a barely there social work degree, a bad attitude over worked underpaid and overcompensating their sense of importance and authority over your life in their un kept files.

glitter gold star

The last I checked, [wasn’t it] under Clinton’s administration that made it such that recipients have to work a minimum of 30 hours per week to even apply for food stamps? Where does the notion come from that people in 2016 are able to collect food stamps without being gainfully employed—or that they can’t have nice things because they do receive food stamps? I will never forget the time I was watching a “how to” video on You Tube [where a man was] teaching course about a cell phone function. All of a sudden, out of no where, the man went into a rant about how upset he gets that people who get food stamps own iPhones. It was so bizarre.  The obsession with “those people” (choosing to suffer the humiliation to even get AND spend them) is out of control-anger very much displaced.

A full book of food stamps is hardly the price to pay for the willingness to suffer that kind of humiliation because you chose to supplement your crappy work pay with ‘help’ available-the same help, that too, is available to you…that is…if you can handle all that, too.
