Social media was all abuzz last month when it was announced that a movie about late, six time Grammy-winning pop-soul singer Amy Winehouse was being brought to the big screen [come July 2015].
Well despite not having the blessings of Amy’s family, the show will (still) go on.
July 3 having been reported the official UK release date, it was recently announced that July 10 is when U.S. fans can expect to check out the tell-all rockumentary [quote]“featuring extensive unseen archive footage and previously released unheard tracks” [unquote].
Amy Winehouse died of alcohol poisoning on July 23, 2011 during the height of her hype and career.
