Love was certainly in the air this weekend and another one of our favorite couples tied the knot: Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross.
The last time we wrote about the happy couple’s plans to marry; the topic of media discussion was whether or not Evan’s famous mom (singer/performer Diana Ross) was going to sing at the wedding.
Well, everything that (traditionally or by expectation) should of-didn’t, like: Ashlee’s father (a minister) didn’t give her away or walk her down the isle but rather, her cutie son [Bronx] did!
How cute was that!?
Although papa didn’t give her away, she sure as heavens had his blessings! LOOK AT HIM DANCING! How cute is this! (I can’t stop laughing at this picture):
Ashlee was also joined by, and had the blessings of her newly married sister, singer Jessica Simpson, (seen pictured here at Evan and Ashlee’s engagement party) who as well, was her matron of honor 
along with Chudnee Ross (Diana Ross’ daughter/Evan’s older sister).
Jessica’s children: Max and Ace served as ring-bearer and flower girl.
Diana Ross officiated the nuptials and her daughter (Evans’ big sister/Girlfriends’ actress) Traccee Ellis-Ross served as the emcee. How cool!?
The wedding took place at Mrs. Ross’ Greenwich, Connecticut home witnessed by the couple’s close friends and family.
Ashley and Evan were dating 7 months before he popped the question to the Pieces of Me singer who as of August 31, 2014; (along with the $750,000.00 worth of Neil Lane Jewelry she wore on her big day), has all the pieces she needs right now.
Congrats are in order for Evan and Ashlee.
He now has her forever-to hold: “until to death do they part.”

One of my FAVORITE songs by Ashlee (that I felt at one time she was singing my life with her words) :-)~ is one that she is living right now.
Because from the looks of things, she can “finally rest her head on something real, too.”
