In case you didn’t know, actress Taraji P. Henson is a Howard U alum and trained in theater (which includes a wide variety of acting methods).
So although we’ve seen Taraji in almost every form and have yet to see her do comedy-never your worry; she is can pull pulling this off!
Taraji, joined by musical guest Mumford & Sons, joins a growing list of African American women invited to grace the SNL stage behind Oprah, Halle Berry, Kerry Washington, Nicki Minaj, and Sasheer Zamata.
