STAR WARS’ Princess Leia, CARRIE FISHER, Suffers Heart Attack Mid-Flight

Star Wars’ beloved Princess Leia almost went on to glory but may the force be with her at this moment as, (reportedly) while on a plane earlier today, she suffered a massive heart attack.

I know it all seems so surrwrong surreal as, it was just about a month ago, the actress (whose real name is actress Carrie Fisher) was just stretching out her newly refreshed 15 minutes-revamping old Star Wars behind the scenes secrets of an alleged affair she had with fellow actor, Harrison Ford (who played Han Solo).

Around 2:46 p.m. this afternoon it was reported that her plane landed around noon, where paramedics performed CPR on the distressed, former Star Wars damsel.Image result for carrie fisher as princess leia

As of 6 p.m. tonight her brother, Todd Fisher, told the Associated Press her condition was upgraded to “stabilized” [and that] she was out of “emergency.”

Our friends at ET (Entertainment), who spoke personally to Fisher’s brother, updated us all on her condition as of 8 p.m tonight:

“Carrie Fisher is currently in the Intensive Care Unit of a Los Angeles hospital after suffering a heart attack aboard an airplane on Friday, her brother, Todd Fisher, tells ET exclusively.

“She is in the intensive care unit, she is being well looked after,” Todd says. “If everyone could just pray for her that would be good. The doctors are doing their thing and we don’t want to bug them. We are waiting by patiently.”

Todd says Fisher’s condition is still unknown.

“We don’t know. We hope for the best,” Todd says. “We certainly do not know her condition, that’s why she is in ICU. I’m sure everyone wants to speculate, but now is not the time for that.”

Fisher was on a flight from London to Los Angeles International Airport when she went into cardiac arrest. Fellow passengers, including a nurse, then assisted her, according to air traffic control. A source close to Fisher tells ET that as the plane was descending into LAX, Carrie was awakened and “she started throwing up and saying she couldn’t breathe.”

“They rushed her to the hospital and they are monitoring her heart right now,” the source adds.

In a statement to ET, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott said they responded to LAX for a patient on an inbound flight in cardiac arrest at 12:11 p.m. LAFD firefighter paramedics were standing by for the plane’s arrival, provided advanced life support and aggressively treated and transported the patient to a local hospital.

Fisher’s sister Joely tweeted about the news on Friday, writing, “Use the force babe.”

This all comes at a very bad, and ironic time.

“Bad” [timing] because Fisher was traveling from London to LAX while currently on a book tour.

“Ironic” because as you know, the newest installment of Star Wars (“Rogue”), just touched down in theater’s nationwide where, for the past week or so, it’s grossing tops at the box office.

Fisher returned-reprising her role as General Leia. Reportedly, for the past year, she felt the pressure to lose weight in time for her on screen return.

No word yet as to what the cause of her heart attack was however…Carrie Fisher

May the force of rest and relaxation be with Carrie as our thoughts, prayers and wishes pull the princess through.
