The Brit Awards’ 2015 nom list was announced tonight which even included some of the usual suspects (International artists: Beyonce, John Legend, Pharrell, Taylor) however, unexpectedly, they snubbed [the writer of one of my favorite songs selfies: “Hands Up” by Miley Cyrus]–their very own: Who You Are U.K. pop powerhouse Jessie J—despite burning up the charts with her hit (along with Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj: Bang Bang).

Other (nominated) Brits (Rita Ora, Sam Smith and others) will represent, though. Here is the full list of nods:

As well , today, Brit (and Twilight’s Robert Pattinson’s  boo) FKA Twigs, 26, also introduced the world to the visual of her new (self-directed) video “Pendulum”-a single from her studio album titled “LP1” which debuted with nearly 11k units sold in the U.S. with songs produced by Paul Epworth who as well, is the magic behind much of Brit pop singer Adele’s production.

“…special thanks to expert wykd dave, for binding me with my own protein insecurities, performance artist sasha waltz for providing inspiration and to academy for supporting me as a director” –FKA Twigs
