Our guy Ricky Martin, 42, was captured out and about looking towards the sun [we can’t say for sure or no, if Living La Vida Loca, but as of early January this year, has been living la vida “sola”] but the successful spiritual crooner had reported separated from his long-time partner Carlos Gonzalez.

His rep told our sources in a statement: “Ricky and Carlos have mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be united by friendship and their shared experiences.”

th (28) It was just last year [2013 in Vanity Fair] Martin spoke highly of Gonzalez stating that he was supportive of his lifestyle (which included the fact that he-Martin-is also the father of five year-old twins: Matteo and Valentino, born via a surrogate back in 2008 August). His boys are just as much apart of him, as he is of them. Martin takes fatherhood seriously. And being with him is a package deal-like a single mother with children. No games.

Spiritual.

Grounded.

Still beautiful.

Still talented.

Still sexy.

But also very domesticated.

Ricky Martin is, and has always been a very private celebrity, so know one knows for sure why the two split. It was rumored that distance was a factor. The source was quoted as having said to People Magazine: “They’ve spent very little time together and have grown apart-they’ve been on the outs for a while now.”

Ricky Martin took the music industry by storm from 2000-2001 with this song, dressed in black, with a perfect physique to match. It just…WORKED for him! He OWNED pop with that song. It was fun and exciting-but sexy as all get out!
