George Zimmerman was arrested late Friday for aggravated assault in a domestic violence case, according to Florida’s Seminole County Sheriff’s Office. Then 31-year-old was detained at 10 p.m in Lake Mary, near Orlando, and has been denied bail, according his booking record. He is due to appear in court at 9 a.m. Saturday. “Zimmerman was charged with aggravated assault and is currently on a no bond status,” the Sheriff’s Office said. “The next step in the process is first appearance. The investigation into an improvised explosive detonated outside the Colorado Springs, Colo., NAACP office, is a high priority, El Paso County officials said Thursday. The investigation, being conducted as a joint effort with local and federal law enforcement resources, has been ongoing since the blast. The device was detonated against the exterior wall of the NAACP building on South El Paso Street on Tuesday morning. “Regardless of if this act is determined to be a biased motivated crime, the law enforcement community in El Paso County does not condone this or any act of violence,” the statement said. PARIS (AP) — Masked gunmen shouting “Allahu akbar!” stormed the Paris offices of a satirical newspaper today, killing 12 people before escaping. It was France’s deadliest terror attack in at least two decades.
French President Francois Hollande called the attack on the Charlie Hebdo weekly, which has frequently drawn condemnation from Muslims, “a terrorist attack without a doubt” and said several other attacks have been thwarted in France “in recent weeks.”

~~~Dec., 30, 2014 AirAsia Plane Believed Found at Sea: Bodies & Debris Located
The hunt for a missing AirAsia passenger plane appeared over Tuesday as wreckage and dozens of bodies were spotted at sea off Indonesia, prompting raw scenes of emotion from sobbing relatives of the 162 people aboard.
The Airbus A320-200 disappeared en route from Indonesia’s second largest city Surabaya to Singapore during a storm early Sunday.
All indications now are that it crashed in the Java Sea southwest of the island of Borneo, with debris and dozens of bodies retrieved so far.
An air force plane saw a “shadow” on the seabed believed to be of the missing Flight QZ8501, National Search and Rescue Agency chief Bambang Soelistyo told a news conference in Jakarta.
Relatives of the 162 missing hugged each other and burst into tears in Surabaya as they watched footage of one body floating in the sea on a television feed of Soelistyo’s press conference.
An Indonesian warship had recovered more than 40 bodies from the sea “and the number is growing”, navy spokesman Manahan Simorangkir told AFP shortly afterwards.
