In case you didn’t know, former Stacey Lattisaw background dancer, turned Andre Andre Harrell apprentice, turned producer and rap mogul, turned apprentice-ee (who sends apprentices across the Brooklyn bridge for cheesecake), turned Revolt music cable television network owner; P Diddy had a pretty big weekend.
And too, was in the lineup of Super Bowl commercials for the station on the big weekend, which included designated “Rap God” and Light-Skinned Keith Sweat” rapper, Drake:
Hosted by Diddy, and in the building as well for the festivities, were rappers: French Montana, Bun B, and Wale. Model Tyson Beckford and even Paul McCartney was in attendance.
Drake blessed the Time Warner Cable Revolt studio stage to perform for the network’s Super Bowl concert in New York City Super Bowl Sunday where he performed hits from his hits dropped since the release of Nothing Was The Same: “We Made It” and “Trophies.” As well, from his earlier music, he performed “Don’t You Have a Man” and “Sooner Than Later.”
Not to be outdone by the Light Skinned Keith Sweat on his own network studio’s stage, Diddy brought the house down by performing his classic “Mo’ Money Mo Problems” and “All About the Benjamins,” from his protege Mase’s hot classic CD: “Harlem World.”
French Montana continued to keep the crowd on their feet by performing his hit: “Aint Worried About a Thing” where Wale keep the crowd’s hands in the air as his superstar hype-man for the night.
Have at the some footage below, and mark your calendars for the air date of the concert in its entirety-scheduled to be shown on Revolt on Thursday, February 6th at 9pm.
