passed away at her home in L.A this past Sunday and is survived by her three grandchildren and 60 year-old son Michael Cannata Jr. (from her first marriage to writer Michael Cannata).
She was widowed after her second marriage to writer William Goyen who died in 1983. The couple had been married since 1963.
