“I Bet” singer Ciara sang that she’d bet [Future?] start loving her as soon as she found someone else—“someone better” than him. And let her tell it, she did: NFL Quarterback Russell Wilson whose fans took out a different bet of sorts: Gambling on the hope that if 50k was raised in an online fundraising campaign [called For The Win], perhaps Ciara could take the money and run…run far away from the quarterback as possible. That way, (as per the fans’ rationale who set up the account) perhaps the Seahawks could go back to winning some games.
The fans who set up the account ascertained that when Ciara left rapper Future, Future’s future skyrocketed-as if Ciara was some ominous cloud that brought sunshine to his life—when she left.
Considering the fact that the start of the season hasn’t gone so well for Seattle (whose currently 0-2 after this past Sunday’s loss to Green Bay), fans of the pro baller want him to have that
same luck (as Future’s-now), and bet that a 50k payout was enough to send Ciara scurrying up and out of the quarterback’s life and off to obscurity or to do something else like-make another album (so that she’d “have no time for a relationship”).
The account holders of the campaign explained: 
After seeing how great Future Hendrix career has been since Ciara broke up with him. We think the same thing can happen to Russell Wilson again!!
Needless to say, the account has been taken down but let Future tell it, despite the sunshine in his life and career takeoff since Ciara’s blast-off, Ciara’s “evil” and does what she does to sabotage his career because she knows he’s doing so well right now.
The King of Trap recently did a magazine interview where he got the chance to explain himself for the first time since photos of Ciara and Russell hit the throes of social media-showing his impressionable baby boy wrapped in the arms of Russell and being carried by him in ‘a family way’—a family way like that of a step dad stepping in and taking over to take the place of a disinterested or deceased dad, or one that completely dashed and left Ciara to single-motherhood.
Future stated he didn’t necessarily have a problem with his son being around the man, but just that he didn’t like the way his son is being handled (so fondly and affectionately like such…as if the boy’s father isn’t even in the picture).
“I’m cool with him being around him but certain situations, we all in the public eye, you can’t move around with my son a certain kind of way.”
“Not even in the picture” literally.
While obviously it’s a good thing for the stand-in to be affectionate to a child (so as to show interest) you have to admit: It’s an odd situation when both parents (Ciara and Future) are in the public eye and Future is still apart of his son’s life.
That being the case (considering his statement) it sounds like he thinks the poster-child like photos of his son with Russell are overkill: premeditated and orchestrated by Ciara so as to take the spotlight off him and his current heightened success so that the turn-up is put on the negative: The fact that she and Future are no longer together and now she’s off to [rumored near-wedded] bliss; thus further giving the public, hoodbooger blogs and the world of social media much a-do about something that’s nobody’s business [as, when the pics circulated; it prompted a whole lot of dialogue the world of social media over.
“I feel like a lot of moves are just made out of just being evil, basically. Because, you know, the success of my album and you still want to make certain moves to take the spotlight off me a little bit and shed light on a negative situation. “Why would you want to put light on a negative situation? Even if I didn’t care about it, the people have a way of looking at it. Why would you want to give these people an opinion on our kid? Why won’t we just let our child be a child?”
As it seems (according to his statements) there are some things however, that may very well be out of the public eye. From reading between the lines, he seems concerned that well-child care decisions are being made about he and Ciara’s child that here of late-
haven’t involved him-as if he is an absent or estranged parent who (in a case like that) wouldn’t rightfully have a say (or shouldn’t) as, an “estranged” or “absent parent” couldn’t very well have the child’s best interest at heart-or care for his well-child care if he went astray or dashed.
Such isn’t the case with Future and considering that; he would like to be considered (when decisions are made that affect the quality of life and well being on he and Ciara’s baby boy):
“I want to be able to judge him for myself. I want to judge the nannies that’s around my child. I don’t want to pay for a nanny that I never met, that I never got a chance to interview. That’s not the life I want for my child. I want to be involved 100 percent in all decisions made. This my flesh and blood. If I don’t want him to do something, there’s supposed to [be a] compromise or we supposed to talk about it. You not supposed to just go behind my back and do it. This is my son, too.”
