the boy (Lane Graves)’s father (Matt Lane), his wife (Melissa Graves) and their two other siblings, were in Orlando vacationing.
Reportedly, this video was taken on a Disney resort showing an alligator close to shore.
UPDATE: Today at approximately 1:45 p.m, the boy’s body (in its entirety-all limbs attached) was found in about 6 feet of water about 10 to 15 feet out from shore.

Alligators in Florida have been making the news over the past year.
Just last November (2015), after making an escape and hiding after a robbery, a 22 year-old Florida man got himself caught in the clinches of an 11-foot gator as he hid by a nearby pond from police officials.
Matthew Riggins’ remains were discovered floating in Barefoot Bay lake. Reportedly, the lower part of his legs and part of one of his arms was missing, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
According to Florida Today, the 11-foot gator was so ferocious that Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission trappers had to euthanized it to recover what was left of Riggins.
Just earlier this month in Florida, at a senior living community in Lakeland Florida, 911 received a call from someone at the Florida Presbyterian Homes to report seeing a human being in the mouth of the alligator.
When the police arrived, the alligator was still there-body in mouth. Although the alligator released the (male) body, officials say he was dead most probably for a day or so.
It’s not clear as to whether the man was dead beforehand, or if he was killed by the alligator. Trappers tried, unsuccessfully, to trap two alligators that kept showing up so they could be dissected for human remains.
